In 2018, I began handcrafting bandanas under the name Simplemax. A quiet, personal project rooted in the idea that a single accessory could carry the spirit of freedom. To show them as they deserved to be seen, I started photographing them: on models, in landscapes, in light. And somewhere in that process, I became a photographer.
Not through a school or an agency. Through the act of building something from nothing. Casting, scouting, styling, directing, shooting, until the image felt true. That path led to campaigns for international fashion and lifestyle brands, and to a practice grounded in one conviction: a great photograph doesn't sell a product, it reveals a world.
I work between the Bassin d'Arcachon, the Côte d'Azur, and Paris. My approach is cinematic and instinctive, built around natural light, organic textures, and the kind of intimacy that makes an image linger. Every project I take on, I direct entirely: concept, moodboard, casting, styling, location, production, and delivery. A single creative partner, from first idea to final image.
My work with models runs deep. Beyond fashion campaigns, I have produced portfolio images for talents represented by international agencies including Wilhelmina, photographs selected as their primary agency shots, seen daily by casting directors worldwide. That experience sharpened something essential: the ability to reveal a person, not just pose them.
